Procter Dance Academy
Procter Dance Academy’s philosophy is to provide the highest level of training in dance and the performing arts.
PDA is a safe and organized dance school where students are tutored in a friendly, nourishing yet disciplined environment where they are able to reach their individual potential and experience the love of dance.
Our mission is to inspire our students and develop their passion for dance. Whether looking to pursue a career in dance or dancing for a hobby – Procter Dance Academy encourages all students to reach their full potential and follow their aspirations.
PDA offers students many experiences and opportunities including performances, examinations, and auditions. As well as annual Summer Schools.
PDA boasts and excellent examination results with the Royal Academy of Dance and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance at both graded and vocational level, and has also had many students join the top Vocational schools through out UK.

Anna Kavanagh Principal
Anna started dancing at the age of three, in a local dance school in Crosby and moved to Procter Dance Academy when it first opened in 2000. At the age of 18 she pursued her passion for dance and attended Merseyside Dance and Drama Centre for 3 years vocational training.

Haley Thorbinson Dance Teacher
Haley trained at her local dance school until 18 years of age, Haley then attended the Royal Academy of Dance, where she achieved her BA (Hons) in The Art and Teaching of Classical Ballet and her Licentiate with the RAD.

Faye Johnson Dance Teacher
Faye has an extensive performing career with credits that include Royal Caribbean Cruises, Haven and Bourne Leisure. Faye trained at Merseyside Dance and Drama Centre where she graduated with her Musical Theatre Diploma and ISTD teaching qualifications.

Aimee Carr Dance Teacher
Aimee started dancing at the age of 3 in a local dance school before moving to Procter Dance Academy in 2015. She showcased her talent in numerous local productions, including shows in the Empire, CYD and various pantomimes.
